A Call for Control of Frontier AI Models

Government leaders and the European Commission called for stronger frontier-AI oversight through safety testing, independent evaluation, common standards and incident reporting. They also invited exploration of an international standards-and-verification institution. The declaration itself creates neither mandatory testing duties nor a new institution.
